Neville Pleads For More Van Gaal Stay

Former Manchester United defender, Phil Neville has publicly expressed confidence that Louis Van Gaal will do well for the club, adding that comparing the embattled manager with Sir Alex Ferguson is mere distraction.
Louis van Gaal
There are strong indications that unless there is a drastic improvement in the team, the owners of Manchester United may sack Louis Van Gaal and appoint ousted Chelsea coach, Jose Mourinho who is said to be in talks with the club.
But Neville who is now an assistant to brother Gary leading Valencia in La Liga – said sacking  Van Gaal is not the solution adding that the Dutchman be allowed more time.
“It’s not the Sir Alex Ferguson era now; that time has gone and there needs to be a reality check,” Neville told BBC Radio 5 live.
“It’s the Louis van Gaal era. Constant change is not the answer.”
Manchester play away to Stoke on Saturday December 26, a game which will make or mar the fate of Louis Van Gaal.
